Hello! I'm a 3D Game artist. As an avid gamer, video games are my passion as well as making assets for those games, modeling and creation is my joy and intrigue to let my imagination run wild.

About me

My name is Teemu Jutiyon, I'm 27 years old and born in Finland, Helsinki, a beautiful seaside city where it's natural green in summer and nice and cool in winter.

I play games for fun and gather a lot of inspiration for my work and ideas for new projects, my interests in videogames are Art, Visuals, AI, and Virtual Reality

My interests in field of game development are creation, which ranges from many 3D projects, made in both Blender and Unity and Godot. I don't strive to be a perfectionist, and I'm always eager to learn more as time passes.

3D Puzzle Game: Witchway

A game project for school made with a team of 6 for duration of about 1 and half months. I primarily focused on both interior and exterior graphics design on low-poly format for the game.

3D Adventure/Stealth Game:
Silver Tale of a Magpie Nest

A 3D flight based puzzle game that involves a Magpie going around collecting silver items while not getting caught, the game was made as part of a project within three weeks  deadline with a team of four, and is unfinished, but playable at this stage.

3D Multiplayer Arena FPS:
 

Run. Gun. Win. Sewer Rats brings back the glory of classic arena shooters. You spawn with a pistol and a dream, but ammo runs dry fast. 4-player, fast-paced FPS, barebones but part of a game project that we were given 3 months to make.

This was the first ambitious project I've been part of; never had I been part of making a multiplayer game, and an FPS at that. 

How I approached making animation for the character was to divide the animation components into two separate parts. The top half of the body has its own animation set, and the bottom half would have its own animation set, like most standard FPS games have it that the top and bottom halves have separate animations that blend in together.

Experiences

Global Game Jam 2023 (3/2/23 - 5/2/23)

An exciting experience, my first game jam which is about a group of likeminded individuals who want to make games, met awesome staff and people and had a blast making a game, I've done a lot in two days than I've done in few years.

TUTORS (4/12/24 - 15/1/25)

This was an internship duration, I worked at the TuGames division, where I helped make and develop a game in 3D Unity with a small team under Nico's leadership. This included level design, game environment art, and general 3D assets, particles and miscellaneous work can be easily seen. Only thing I didn't do was coding part. Overall the team was hardworking and one of the best I've been with where I felt that progress had been made and nobody was lazing off. If I were given the opportunity to work with the team, I'd do it again.
